November 2024 is International Games Month. Come to the CSI Library on Tuesday November 5 and Thursday November 7, 2024 from 12:30pm-4:30pm in the library rotunda for Open Games Week. Board games will be available. Come to the CSI Library rotunda to de-stress and play games!

The CSI Library purchased a record player for students, faculty, and staff to play these records. The vinyl record collection is housed on the 1st floor of the Library near the reference desk. International Education Week (IEW) is November 18 through 22, 2024 this year. Join the CSI Library for a film screenings of the following 2 films during Club hours. Both films are CLUE events and will be held in the library theatre, room 1L-103.  Black Girl (1966, 59 minutes) from Senegalese director Ousmane Sembène tells the story of a a young Senegalese woman who becomes a maid for a French couple, but is mistreated and made aware of her race. This film will be shown on Tues Nov 19, 2024 from 2:30pm-3:30pm. On Thurs Nov 21, 2024, we will show a screening of the film On The Roof : El Techo (2017, 1 hr. 15 min), a film by Cuban director Patricia Ramos Hernández. The film is about three young Cubans who are crowded in a decaying neighbourhood of Havana who imagine prosperous futures for themselves as they struggle to meet the demands of everyday life.
