How to Access UpToDate

UpToDate is a trusted evidence-based clinical decision support resource designed for use at the point of care. With over 11,600 searchable topics in 25 medical specialties, UpToDate can help you answer clinical questions, and make safe patient care decisions. To Access UpToDate,

  1. Click the UpToDate link here
  2. Login with your CUNY Login credintials 
  3. Register for an UpToDate account
  4. Start using UpToDate

TIPS: After you have registered, download the UpToDate app from App Store and access it on your phone, OR go directly to www.uptodate.com to login using your registered UpToDate account.

Re-verify your affiliation with CSI

Every 90 days, you’ll see a pop-up message while using UpToDate asking you to "re-verify your affiliation" with CSI. When that happens, all you need to do is to come here and click the UpToDate link here or on this guide. You'll see the Off Campus Access @ College of Staten Island page. Login through your CUNY login credentials.

Connect to Databases Off-Campus

Access to the CSI Library's databases and electronic resources is restricted to current students, faculty, and staff of the College of Staten Island and retired faculty. In order to access library databases from off-campus, users must sign in with their CUNY Login Information (CUNYFirst and Blackboard username and password).
