Instructional Videos for Library Research

The Library Instruction team has created and/or assembled instructional videos to help students, faculty, and staff navigate library resources for research.

Scaffolded Search in OneSearch

This series of videos shows a student how to identify a topic, then find books and articles about that topic using OneSearch in the CSI Library.

First, Start with a Topic
Part 1: shows you how to identify a general topic, write a specific research question, then write keywords for searching library databases.
Next, Start Your Research
Part 2: shows you how to use your keywords to start a search in OneSearch at the CSI Library.
Finding Books
Part 3: we will use those keywords to find some books on our topic.
Find Articles
Part 4: now we'll find academic articles using the same keywords.
