I. Using OneSearch to Find Articles and eBooks for Your Course Assignments
If you like google search, you would love OneSearch (see the Search Box above that says "Enter search term here". OneSearch allows you to find high-quality full-text articles and ebooks across many of the resources subscribed by CSI and CUNY. All the full-text journal articles in Business Source Complete database including Harvard Business Review are searchable here. Try typing anti-vaxxers or healthcare management in the search box and see what you get. See a demo below:
II. Using Individual Databases to Find Articles for Your Course Assignments
As you have seen above, OneSearch allows you to search across many of the library resources in one place, but there are times when searching an individual database, especially a subject-specific database might be more effective, giving you not as many hits as OneSearch, but more relevant articles. In addition, the search Interface might be more user friendly...Try a few of the following databases to find peer-reviewed articles on topics this course focuses on. Do not forget that these databases can also generate APA and MLA citations for you, a big time-saver. Databases 1-4 below are all from database provider EBSCOhost, with similar interface. So if you learned the basics of searching in one (take the Medline or Business Source tutorials linked below), you will be able to search in others.
