CUNY has provided instructors free access to two leading plagiarism detection/ prevention services: Turnitin and SafeAssign. These tools can help instructors detect plagiarism in student work and promote academic integrity.  The following are some resources that can help faculty and students better understand and use these tools, including how to create Turnitin or SafeAssign assignments for students to submit their work, and understand the similarity report. Both tools have been integrated seamlessly into Blackboard and no separate account/login is required.
