  • FastStats: provides quick access to data from the National Center for Health Statistics. Topics include diseases and conditions, injuries, life stages and populations, health care and insurance, births, and deaths.
  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention- Data and Statistics
  • MedlinePlus: Health Statistics: provides links to latest news in health statistics, statistics for specific conditions and different age groups.
  • Vital and Health Statistics Series (CDC: center for disease control): provides data from 24 series from the U.S. National Health Survey, National Survey of Family Growth, National Health Interview Survey, National Health Examination Survey, the National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys, and the Hispanic Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
  • National Cancer Institute - Statistics: Data from U.S. National Cancer Institute (NCI), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, (DHHS).

  • New York State Dept. of Health:  Data & Reports: Lists most current New York State statistics for AIDS, ambulatory surgery, cancer, communicable diseases, county health indicator profiles, diabetes, environmental and occupational health, heart disease, health care reform and managed care, hospital discharges, injury facts, information for state health policy, public health data set, and vital statistics.
