The Library Theater is now opened and we are happy to announce two film screenings the week of November 13, 2023.
The CSI Library is pleased to present Upstream, Downriver (2022, 32 minutes), a documentary directed by Maggie Burnette Stogner that highlights 50 years of the Clean Water Act and the critical issues we still face today. This film takes viewers into the heart of the battle for water justice. Powerful stories with frontline community activists are interwoven with historical context about landmark regulations that significantly reduced water pollution in the U.S. but failed to serve disadvantaged communities that are hardest hit by today’s climate crisis.
Please join us for a film screening and discussion on Tuesday November 14, 2023 from 2:30pm-3:30pm in the Library Theater (1L-103). This is a CC CLUE event.
