In celebration of Women's History Month 2023, the CSI Library, in conjunction with the NYPL Todt-Hill Westerleigh branch, invite you to join us for a screening of the film Hidden Figures, in the Library Theater (1L-103) on Tuesday, March 28th from 2:30-5pm.
Film synopsis: "Three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson -- serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world." Based on a true story by Margot Lee Shetterly.
