The Poetry Foundation, publisher of POETRY magazine, is an independent literary organization committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture. Their website contains poetry book reviews, a large archive of featured poems, and educational guides for certain poems.

Poets.org is produced by the Academy of American Poets, a nonprofit charitable organization. The site was launched in 1996, becoming the first online resource for poems, poets’ biographies, essays about poetry, and materials for K–12 teachers.

A multicultural and multi-arts institution, the Cafe gives voice to a diverse group of rising poets, actors, filmmakers and musicians. The Cafe champions the use of poetry, jazz, theater, hip-hop and spoken word as means of social empowerment for minority and underprivileged artists.

NYSAI Press publishes Staten Island-based literary journals, chapbooks, zines, and a biannual literary magazine featuring artists and writers with distinct voices from all over the world.

Founded in 1970, Poets & Writers is the nation’s largest nonprofit organization serving creative writers.

Poets House seeks to document the wealth and diversity of modern poetry, to stimulate dialogue on issues of poetry in culture, and to cultivate a wider audience for the art.
