Anyone who lives, works, or attends school in New York State can get a NYPL card and pin. See NYPL Get a Library Card page.
For CSI students & faculty:
You need only one of the following:
1. One of the valid New York State IDs: current driver's license, current photo learner's permit, or current non-driver's identification
2. Your CSI employee ID card AND drivers license (any state), or cable, phone or utility bill, or any piece of mail with your name and address (yes, NJ or PA address...)
3. Your CSI student ID card AND any piece of mail with your name and address in NY
The easiest way to get a card is to go in person to a NYPL branch library. There's a NYPL library next to the College (0.3 mile, see picture above). There's no application form to complete, and you'll get your card & pin in minutes.

1. Once you have logged in to LinkedIn learning, check the Stay logged in box: 
or allow your browser to remember your login. You can access courses on any app (iOS, Android, Windows, Desktop) and at any time.
2. You don't need a NYPL card to check out LinkedIn learning to see what it can do for you. You can browse its library of courses or topics, or try some free introductory videos.

New York Public Library provides access to LinkedIn learning (formerly Lynda.com), an online educational site that includes over 3,000 video courses in popular fields like web design, IT, education/instruction, and business. Many courses can help business majors, including MS Excel and a host of business courses. Anyone with a NYPL library card and a 4-digit pin number is able to access for free. And getting a free NYPL library card and pin only takes minutes by going to any one of their branch libraries.
