Native American Indian Resources

Welcome to the webpage of resources about Native American Indians

In celebration of American Indian History Month, this website offers a taste of selected resources that are available at the CSI Library about Native American Indians.  The tabs on the left will take you to identified resources in the various categories.

The College of Staten Island Library is standing on the Aquehonga Manacknong, a part of Lenapehoking, the ancestral homeland of the Lenape people. At least three Lenape tribes called Staten Island their home: the Tappan, Hackensack, and Raritan peoples. We acknowledge that they were driven away from this lands. Recognizing the legacy of settler colonialism we are committed to spread the knowledge about the first inhabitants of the land we now live and work on.
